Our Apartment

Well, I've had some requests to see pictures of our apartment since we haven't really shown any. Our place is finally coming together, but there are still a few boxes we are trying to find places for. We've thrown a ton of stuff out, that we shouldn't have moved in the first place, but for sure our place is smaller than our house in Kriskville. It's about 400 sq. ft. smaller, with a lot less storage (no garage).

All in all we really like it here. The location in the complex near the pool allows for quick dips, near a grass plot for the dogs, and secluded on the back side so we don't have too much traffic or noise. The workout facility is a short walk, and doesn't seem to be very busy, so that's another plus. The only real downer on our apartment is the kitchen. The appliances work great, but it's so freakin' small! If you know Mara and I, we love to cook together. We end up dancing around each other most of time, so it's taking some getting used to.

We are also REALLY close to a large soccer complex that is perfect for jogging around. Last night we made a few laps around it and into the neighborhood around us and ended up being a 6 mile jog! It's really quiet and nice. The jogging stoller is awesome too. Because of the no snow or hard freezes, the concrete has very few cracks or bumps so Rohan usually sleep through the whole thing (unlike Kirksville). Unless of course Mara runs him through a sprinkler...he apparently doesn't like to be woken up that way....:)
